Come sit by the cozy fire and listen to a winter story.
We're breaking with our usual format for Classics Reading Group. For this session we will meet by the fireplace on the first floor of the library to enjoy warming refreshments and a reading of "The Dead" by James Joyce. The room will be set up early and the reading will begin at 11:00.
"The Dead" is a hauntingly beautiful story found at the end of Joyce's collection, Dubliners from 1914. It takes place during a party in a large house in December. The perfect winter story for our Ella K. McClatchy Branch Library.
This program meets both in-person and virtually. Please register for the Zoom codes to join us online.
