Know Diabetes by Heart

Learn the link between type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Presented in collaboration with the American Heart Association, this workshop will include information on:

• The link between type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease like heart attack, stroke, and heart failure
• Risk factors, warning signs, and symptoms of diabetes
• Lifestyle changes you can make to prevent or better manage diabetes

This event is supported by the Network of the National Library of Medicine and the All of Us Research Program. The All of Us Research Program, or All of Us for short, is a research program from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). All of Us is building one of the largest and most diverse health databases of its kind. Researchers are already using this data to learn more about why people get sick or stay healthy, and what makes each of us unique.
