Join us as we celebrate the start of Summer Reading with fun activities for families!
Kick off this summer with stories, adventures, and fun at the library! Come join us as we celebrate the start of Summer Reading at the Robbie Waters Library on Saturday, June 6, from 11:45 a.m.–1:30 p.m. near the library entrance.
Bring the whole family and enjoy some free activities for all ages, such as a Story Walk, sweet ice cream treats for kids, and other fun! This special event is sponsored by the Friends of the Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library in celebration of the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge. Kids and adults alike are invited to sign up for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. We’ve added lots of exciting new prizes for readers who complete the challenge and all you have to do is read!

The Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library is located on Gloria Drive and shares a parking lot with the School of Engineering and Sciences Middle/High School. It has 2 study rooms, a seed library, a gender-neutral restroom, and houses the browsable cake pan library. It has a reservable meeting room.
