Nature Journaling with ARPF

Sacramento Public Library and the American River Parkway Foundation are delighted to extend their collaboration and bring more book-based programming to the parkway in 2026.
Nature journaling combines mindfulness, creativity, and the great outdoors. There will be a brief introduction to nature journaling, a few warm-up exercises, independent journaling time, and a group shareout at the end. All materials will be provided. No prior experience is needed.
Please register to attend. Parking passes will be available, and instructions will be emailed to registrants prior to the program date.
Sacramento Public Library (SPL) and the American River Parkway Foundation (ARPF) will be cohosting 5 programs at River Bend Park this year. We will meet on the 4th Thursday of each month (April through August) from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
