Wanna talk or rant about books with other teens? Each month we'll discuss a specific book genre through the lens of novels vs graphic novels. This month we'll be discussing the contemporary genre.
This Month's Match Up: Battle Contemporary
Shut Up, This Is Serious by Carolina Ixta VS Brownstone by Samuel Teer
Not interested in these titles? Feel free to read anything in the contemporary genre; then come to the meeting ready to discuss the genre as a whole.
Teens ages 13-19 can join us in the Franklin Community Room every fourth Thursday of the month for our Teen Book Group where we discuss books, eat snacks, hang out, and play games or activities themed around our month book or book genre. Drop-ins are always welcome, and no registration is required for this program.
Limited copies of this month's picks are available at the Franklin Community Library information desk, but they're also available digitally:
Shut Up, This Is Serious | Libby Audiobook | Libby eBook
Brownstone | Libby eComic
