Join the largest book club on the West Coast and find programming inspired by "They Called Us Enemy" at your local library.

As a special presentation for Adult Space, join your fellow community members for a viewing and discussion about the 2014 documentary To Be Takei: A Star’s Trek for Life, Liberty, and Love, starring George Takei and directed by Jennifer M. Kroot.
This documentary is also available for viewing through Kanopy.

One Book, One Coast is a shared community reading program that celebrates historical learning and reflection, encourages community conversations, and promotes civil discourse. The featured title is They Called Us Enemy by George Takei, Steven Scott, and Justin Eisinger and illustrated by Harmony Becker.
