Wanna talk or rant about books with other teens? Each month we'll discuss a specific book genre through the lens of novels vs graphic novels. This month we're diving into classics.
This Month's Match Up: Battle Classics
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou VS Speak: The Graphic Novel by Laurie Halse Anderson
Teens ages 13-19 can join us in the Franklin Community Room every fourth Thursday of the month for our Teen Book Group where we discuss books, eat snacks, hang out, and play games or activities themed around our month book or book genre. Drop-ins are always welcome, and no registration is required for this program.
Limited copies of this month's picks are available at the Franklin Community Library information desk, but they're also available digitally:
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings | Libby Audiobook | Libby eBook
Speak: The Graphic Novel | Libby eComic
