Join local artist Jennifer Peart as she shows you how to capture the likeness of mushrooms and fungi through this all-levels watercolor workshop. Explore the fantastical forms, vivid colors, and textured caps of the fungus among us as you learn to depict them using watercolor techniques. All supplies will be provided and participants will go home with their own original creation! This program is designed for teens and young adults.
About the Artist:
Jennifer Peart is a Sacramento-based artist and arts educator. She studied drawing and painting at Los Rios Community Colleges and Mills College. She also has her Master’s in Teaching from UCDavis. Painting is her specialty. Nature, color theory, and science fiction are just some of the worlds that inspire her painting practice.
