Wanna talk or rant about books with other teens? Each month we'll choose a new book to read and discuss as a group. This month's pick is the sapphic romance I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston.
Book of the Month: I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston
Synopsis: Four years ago, Chloe Green’s moms uprooted her from her happy SoCal Life to attend a conservative Christian high school in Alabama, where the administration is puritanical, and her classmates are gossip fiends. But the goal that’s kept Chloe going, is beating her rival for valedictorian, prom queen Shara Wheeler, who just so happens to be the principal’s perfect progeny.
But one month before graduation, Shara Wheeler kisses Chloe and then vanishes. But Chloe isn’t the only one Shara kissed. Thrown into an unlikely alliance with the two boys Shara also kissed, and with only the cryptic notes Shara left behind for her, Chloe’s determined to drag Shara back before graduation to beat her fair and square.
