Are you bird curious? Join us in welcoming author Aaron Haiman as he talks about how important the Delta is for sustainability and biodiversity in our area.

Haiman's presentation includes an overview of the geographical history of the Delta: highlighting biodiversity, the importance to birds and their migratory patterns, threats to the Delta in general, and habitat restoration. A short Q&A will be held at the end.
About the author: Haiman holds several degrees that include environmental science, avian science, and animal behavior and works as a Senior Environmental Scientist for the Wildlife Conservation Board.
Limited copies of his book will be available for checkout and for sale during the event.
