Special interactive performance and educational presentation on African history and music.
Narrative, drumming, and dance trace the history of African Americans from Africa to the New World. Participants gain history and geography facts as the story of the African influence on African music and culture unfolds. This program educates as well as entertains. It is appropriate for all ages. 60 minutes.

Located on the Alhambra Blvd side of the McKinley Park, Mckinley Library is housed inside the Clunie Community Center. The Library has a seed library. The non-fiction section is on the second floor that is only accesible via a narrow stairwell. Street parking is available.
