Join us as the California Native Plant Society leads a presentation designed for children ages 8-12 on identifying, caring for, and understanding the ecological role of California's native plants.
Join us as the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) leads an informative presentation on identifying, caring for, and understanding the ecological role of California's native plants. During the program, participants will engage in hands-on activities, including oak species identification and seed harvesting. They will also handle, learn about, and practice identifying plants from the CNPS nursery.
The content and activities of this program are designed for school-aged children (8-12) and their families.
This program will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 2:00 – 3:15 pm at Central Library (828 I St., Sacramento, CA) in the 1st Floor West Meeting Room.
