Ever wondered how a hobby becomes a book? The Library will be hosting a conversation led by local author and outdoor enthusiast Ashley Shult Langdon on her journey to publishing her first book.
What began during the pandemic as a way to keep her preschool-aged boys from climbing out the windows, soon turned into daily discoveries along the Lower American River. After a few years of exploring, a year of writing, and another in book design, this journey and the book has drawn the attention of local educators, organizations, and community members alike.
