Learn how to plant seeds with the Citrus Heights Water District!
Get ready for spring with Citrus Heights Water’s WaterSmart Workshop, Here Comes the Sun: Spring Planting! Led by UC Master Gardener Ruth Ostroff, this hands-on class will focus on selecting and planting spring-friendly plants that thrive as days get longer and temperatures warm. Participants will learn how sunlight, soil preparation, and proper planting techniques set the stage for a healthy, water efficient garden.
Attendees will plant seasonal selections alongside the instructor and leave with new plants and practical tips they can use at home. The workshop will also cover watering basics, plant placement, and how to support growth
