We will read and/or watch the play, then meet to discuss it on December 13.
The Tragedy of Macbeth was originally performed in 1606 and is Shakespeare's shortest tragedy. Due to superstition, many consider it bad luck to say the title within a theatre, so it is often referred to as "The Scottish Play."
We will read and/or watch the play, then meet to discuss it on December 13. You may attend a live performance or watch a recording via Alexander Street, Kanopy, or DVD.
This is a "hybrid" program that meets both in-person at the McClatchy Library and virtually on Zoom. Registration is not required to attend in person; but is required for Zoom.
