Opioid Overdose Prevention Workshop
Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose and how to administer Narcan/Naloxone.
Join us at the Southgate Library for an Opioid Overdose Prevention Workshop, presented in partnership with the Sacramento County Opioid Coalition. In this workshop, you will learn:
- What opioids are, and how they're impacting the Sacramento community
- How to recognize an opioid overdose and how to administer Narcan/Naloxone
- About harm reduction, what the Sacramento County Opioid Coalition does, and how you can help

WHILE SUPPLIES LAST: Participants will receive a kit with one box of Narcan (with two doses), disposable medical grade gloves, Chapstick, and an antiseptic wipe.
