McKinley Library is reading poetry by Rumi, the 13th century poet and Sufi mystic that redefined romantic poetry
Quick Reads are books of less than 200 pages. Join us each month on the second Saturday at 11:30 a.m. for lively discussions about diverse titles, authors, topics, and content. This month, we will be reading and discussing poetry by Rumi, any poem that you choose to read and discuss with the group. Some copies of Rumi's poetry are available at the McKinley Library service desk during library hours. New participants are always welcome! At this meeting we will discuss the time Rumi lived in, Persian history, and romantic poetry.
