Wanna talk or rant about books with other teens? Each month we'll discuss a specific book genre through the lens of novels vs graphic novels. This month we're diving into the dystopian genre.
This Month's Match Up: Battle Dystopian
Feed by M. T. Anderson VS Break Out by Zack Kaplan
A futuristic world where people are connected to the Internet via feeds implanted in their brains (Feed), versus a world where massive Cube spaceships from another dimension have materialized over our cities around the globe and routinely abduct teenagers to be held inside their floating prison ships (Break Out).
Teens ages 13-19 can join us in the Franklin Community Room every fourth Thursday of the month for our Teen Book Group where we discuss books, eat snacks, hang out, and play games or activities themed around our month book or book genre. Drop-ins are always welcome, and no registration is required for this program.
Limited copies of this month's picks are available at the Franklin Community Library information desk, but they're also available digitally:
Feed | Libby Audiobook | Libby eBook | Hoopla eBook
Break Out | Libby eComic | Hoopla eComic
