Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko (1977) is a parallel story about a World War II veteran who returns after the war and an earlier tale of the Pueblo nation. We will read it in two parts:

November 8, pages 1 - 120 (end "as they become plants in the field.")

November 22, pages 121 - end

This is a "hybrid" program that meets both in-person at the McClatchy Library and virtually on Zoom. Registration is not required to attend in person; but is required for Zoom.
